Save Sonny - Save Social Security

The US Social Security system will fall into debt within the next ten years, and is likely to run out of money over the next several decades.

Without change, today's young adults will be hit hard. It's a structural problem that can't be fixed with little tweaks. Now is the time to fix it.

We are producing a series of short internet videos to explain this issue to everyone.

Save Sonny is a unique cross-breed between South Park and Economics 101. Our intent is to describe the demographic drivers, financial realities and policy options for Social Securities to young adults. And, to get have some fun while helping Sonny to chase down his money.

While seemingly larger economic issues loom, Social Security may not seem like a big deal. It is. Financial and Economics experts were calling the housing credit crisis long before it became the daily news. For far longer, many of the same experts have been pointing out that Social Security contains similar structural errors that can't be ignored forever.

We hope that this time, for this issue,
we won't wait until the last minute.
